Conan and his owner met when they were introduced as cast members performing in the show “For the Love of Ike” at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center. His owner played Eisenhower, and Conan played Telek, the dog Ike received as a birthday present from his driver. Conan was just 3 months old (we won't mention the owner's age). It was love at first rehearsal, and Conan came home to his new family the next day.
