This week I'm going to attempt to finish three small paintings. Tonight's was a fun exercise, although Calvin has such a great face, I may have to do a second one of him in order to do him justice. The pictures his owner sent me are hilarious. She says he loves to play, but in the pictures, big ol' Calvin just looks like he just wants to nap. I've posted a couple of pictures below.
Calvin is a 132 lb. American Labrador Retriever. His mama say that "in class Calvin's always been known as the town clown. He's been in classes for 3 1/2 years and there are some who just wait to see what he'll do this week. He does love to play, but he's so big!" And in case you were wondering, yes, Calvin was named in honor of "Calvin and Hobbes."
