The Pooch Project Begins...

Today I finished up the first of many dogs I hope to paint over the next 6 months.

Of course, Ozzie is my favorite subject to paint, so here he is. I'm trying to be less and less stingy with my paint. It's actually a lot of fun building up layers of thick paint. Also I'm trying to use large brushes. In fact, I think I'm going to have to invest in some even bigger brushes.

Also, I was able to get out to Through the Fire studio to pick up my "paperweight" (it's a little more like a blob of glass). I like it a lot.
