Updated 8-29...Chance and Kaiah (in progress...)

An American Bulldog, Chance, weighing in at 115 lbs. snuggling up with his Boxer buddy, Kaiah. What a pair! I'm going to attempt to finish this one over the weekend using only one large brush. It's a larger canvas too, 18 x 24", so it should be fun.

Here's an update from Sunday 8/29... I really slacked off and procrastinated working on this over the weekend! I think I was afraid of it because it has so much potential for greatness and so many ways I could screw it up! All the beautiful sunshine didn't help matters either.

I'm really excited about how the fabric is coming along. I've never had much success or practice painting fabric. I'm not sure about the background color though. That'll probably change again. I need to go with something that will recede and make everything else pop. A more neutral color might work better.
